Communal strangers, juxtaposed narratives, a village within the city, Quartier Asiatique, Parc de Choisy. Contrasting materials, chaotic streets, metal escalators, concrete stairwells, car parks and rooftops. Tacky teenagers, heavy makeup, stonewashed denim. Neon lights, dark tunnels, illuminated street signs. Contrasting colours, trashy luxury, Jeanne Mas. Warped, in your face graphics. Colour-blocked, mis-matched, a strange balance of opposites. Digital yet analogue.
